The Storm

Stuck at home because of the storm.

Trust me though, this isn't the norm.

I personally thought it'd be fun at school.

Stuck inside, going crazy would be cool.

The sirens went off when I was at the bus stop.

I was so excited, I thought I would pop!

Later today, when I'm back with my class,

There might be more storms that start to pass.

I can't wait because as you may know...

I'm a weather freak, yes it is so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poetry Marathon Day 4: April Fools Day!

April Fools Day

I woke up this morning at 10 AM,

Or so I thought...it's what my clock said.

Then I heard my sister laughing out loud.

April Fools Day joke, without a doubt.

I opened the box of Mini Wheats,

But they turned out to be Marshmellow Treats.

Then I heard my sister snorting really loud.

Aprils Fools Day joke, without a doubt.

I turned on the TV,

But nothing could I see.

My sister plugged it in, and it got really loud.

April Fools Day joke, without a doubt.

Last night, my sister went to bed,

Me, being the smart one, put a spider on her head.

This morning I laughed really, really loud.

Then she told me, "I'll get you back. There's not a doubt."

Just so you know...this is NOT a true story:D No April Fools...I promise!
